1059 The Beat is powered by KryKey.com. Located in Kahnawake, Quebec, Canada just 15 min outside of Montreal. They are the leading Canadian hip hop station on KryKey.com.

Founded March 2010 by Brett Morris aka DJ BMO

The station started out as a mainstream hip hop station, but in mid July they started receiving music from a few Canadian hip hop independent artists. Now these artist can be heard along side some of the best in hip hop. The goal of the station is to show the world that Montreal is a hip hop city.

1059 The Beat can be heard on their official website which is currently under development. www.1059thebeat.net is going to be the leading hip hop internet radio station in Canada no matter what platform they are using to broadcast.

Catch the only show Street Beatz every Saturday night 8pm - 11pm EST where DJ BMO will play songs that the other stations only get months later.
