  1. It's YOUR music! Keep it that way unless your adoring fans buy it! This thread covers everything you need to know in how to protect YOUR music mp3s on Muzocial and MUZO Radio. This is a special service that is offered to ALL musician members of Muzocial solely. Therefore if you are not a member and want your music played on our radio stations you must become a member before that courtesy will be extended to you at http://muzocial.com/en/

    From the folder location you have stored your mp3 files in you simply right click the mp3 file and select "Properties" you will then see a popup window appear that looks like the image attached in this thread. The rest is very easy as you simply click the "Details" tab, and fill out the fields. Click the "Security" tab, then the "Edit" button and set the permission for Writing to Deny. Click Apply, then OK and you are now ready to send us your files securely. Again, make sure that ONLY those whose names are listed in your mp3s data are also those who send us your files!

    Genre labeling conventions - This is probably the most important info you will enter to ensure that your tracks are listed according to OUR genre listings. We specialize in the Indie genre, however there are multiple sub-genres within the Indie Genre. In the Genre field "Indie" should ALWAYS be listed first. After that entry you would enter the Sub-Genre ie, Rock, Blues, Country etc. When you are finished your Genre field should appear to something similar too: Indie;Rock;, Indie;Blues;, Indie;Country; etc. If your tracks are comprised of multiple sub-genres then the same principles apply and they need to be listed ie. Indie;Trance;Rock;, Indie;Alternative;Grunge;

    WARNING - Files not including all of these important copyright fields will NOT be accepted as we check this data in every mp3 we receive against the name info used in sending them to us in your emails. THIS IS FOR YOUR PROTECTION! As we will NOT upload files from unknown 3rd parties.
