Each radio station on KryKey.com has their own radio station page which is completely configurable and where the owner can add graphics to enhance and promote their radio station.

Some on the network look just damn awful as the owner hasn't done anything to make them look good, however others are slick and awesome.

So with that in mind we are holding a competition in which we will see who has the best radio station page on the network.

So to be nominated, send the radio station name & address to info@KryKey.com and we will take a screen shot and add it to a new photo album on our Facebook Fan page and the radio station with the most "likes" will win - it is that simple to be in it!

What will the winner win? They will win a KryKey Merchandise Package of a KryKey Black T-Shirt, a KryKey Cap and a Coffee Mug with their Radio station logo on it.

Dear Shipmates, family and friends: I want to extend my warm thanks to all of you who have taken the time to record a greeting, tell a story or deliver a message that will be aired on Daddy'O Radio on Oct 13th, the 237th Birthday of the United States Navy. Your contributions will add personal dimensions to the show and I'm confident that our listeners will appreciate your presentations. To my knowledge, a show like this has never aired before. It's produced specifically for navy veterans, their families and those currently serving in navy billets around the world. It may be the first time in history that navy related music plays continuously for about 24 hours. Daddy'O Radio is a free, internet streaming station owned by Jay Price, who just happens to be a Navy veteran. This week we had two groups in one country battling out to be heard using KryKey as their preferred tool. It even got to a stage where one group manipulated the other group and got their sign in details of the radio station and used the line in button to broadcast over the radio stations content.

So the country is Libya.

One group is the current supporters of the regime that removed Qaddafi and the other group are Qaddafi supporters. The former had their radio station sign in details compromised and the latter took over their broadcast.

The simple fix was for the compromised radio station to change their email address and password on the radio station.

So there you have it, the first cyber warfare battle on KryKey was conducted.

Now lets hope they just keep to themselves and use their radio stations to voice their opinions, after all, KryKey.com is all about "giving people a voice" and the right to "freedom of speech".

Freedom Of Speech

The true test of freedom of speech is allowing speech you are morally opposed to. This is important. Primarily because of the diversity of opinions in this world, to stop one form of speech means you also have to stop another. Once I have the right to tell you what you can't say, then, by definition, you have the right to tell me what I can't say.

People too often try to say we shouldn't have this or that type of language or discussion or dialog because it is offensive. This is true, some speech can be offensive, rude, and insulting. The problem we now run into is what is offensive varies between people. Talk radio is a perfect example. It seems conservatives find "liberal views" offensive and vise versa. To an atheist, talk of God is offensive, to a Pro Life proponent, talk of abortion is offensive, and to take it to the extreme, to a Klansman, talk of civil and equal rights is offensive.

You can't ever start taking away speech without realizing the serious consequences of those actions. There are still many options available from avoiding it to opening a dialog where both sides get their say. The hard part is keeping the dialog without reducing down to name calling, bashing, and profanity. Once that happens the message gets lost and you're no better off than you were before.

Freedom of speech is a precious right and must be defended, even if it's speech we don't want to hear. Because I guarantee for almost every opinion, there is probably someone who is offended by it.

I am the World Famous DJ Donny B and have been in the DJ business for over 20 years, born and raised in Ft Worth, TX, I play all genres and I am a very big fan of 80's and 90's music. I now pushes a unique DJ'ing blueprint, incorporating Hip Hop techniques into the spectrum of underground independent and major artists. FORT WORTH, Texas (YN) - I am credited with helping the careers of dozens of indie artists, as I stand out by building a relationship with each artist.

My favorite album of all times is Michael Jackson's Thriller, I loves pizza, but finds beans disgusting. Not a big movie person, but I enjoy producing my own TV Show Donny B TV for over 25 years in the Dallas/Fort worth Metropolis.

Its rare to find a DJ today who pours as much love and who takes as much pride as I do in my mixes. I am the hardest working DJ alive with magical abilities with anything associated with being an InDaMixLive Radio DJ. Brace yourselves as DJ Donny B threatens to burn up your speaker systems! Let me tell you a story...

Many years ago.. I would have to say that the earliest would be when I was about 5 or 6.. my father took an old 45 record of an artist from the 50's to the local radio station, and they played it on the air. Within a short amount of time, calls literally POURED into the station asking to hear more of that kind of music. The station manager offered my dad a job doing it, and for the next few decades he spent every Sat night spinning tunes to thousands of area residents for 4-6 hours. His following was HUGE. And when I was growing up I would lie in bed listening to the music as I drifted off to sleep, thinking to myself "I wanna do that someday".

Fast forward a couple of decades... I had a dream of having my own DJ business..playing music for parties, etc.. but of course the cost was well beyond my means. I even tried applying to area radio stations in hopes of becoming a radio DJ.. but no luck..

Fast forward again to April,2012. I was at home, browsing the internet, looking for free radio stations to listen to online. My search turned up a site called KryKey.com, that offered people the chance to create their very own radio station online, FOR FREE. 

So, seeing this as my chance to finally do what I had always wanted, I brought my son on board and we uploaded a bunch of hard rock and metal songs to the library, did some quick advertising here on FB, and went live with the show. We had a blast, and made some new friends along the way.

But, I didnt stop there.. I decided to create a website, a group on FB, and a separate FB page for the show. But my biggest thrill was yet to come, when I signed up for Twitter..

People started following the tweets.. including some up-and-coming rock stars in the business. We received station liners promoting the show from 2 artists, and more are on the way. We become very close friends with the band Motion Device from Canada, and even though our listener numbers on the live shows are weak, we have a 24/7 playlist that brings in hundreds of listeners each week. 

So when people tell you that dreams don't come true, tell them to come look at my post.. because my dream is a reality. Yeah, we don't make any money doing this, but we made friends... lots of friends. And that's one hell of a paycheck.. :)

Playlists on radio stations can be too long! Why? Because people dont listen for hours and hours and hours. Terrestrial radio has it right as the day is cut up into sections (3-4 hours) and then the music or content is played and then usually played again in each section. Think about it, how many people have the time to listen to your radio station all day? Very, very few. In fact it is better to have a 2 hour playlist and change this once or twice a week. It keeps the music fresh and people will come back to hear it. Playing 10 hours of music is a waste of time, resources and just plain silly.

We get listening figures and a playlist over 2 hours is a complete waste of your time and  your radio stations time, and makes it look like your are just lazy.

Keep it fresh, keep it interesting, keep it less than 2 hours!

Playlist su stazioni radio può essere troppo lungo! Perché? Perché la gente non ascoltare per ore e ore e ore. Radio terrestre ha il diritto come il giorno viene tagliato in sezioni (3-4 ore) e poi la musica o il contenuto viene riprodotto e poi di solito gioca di nuovo in ogni sezione. Pensateci, quante persone hanno il tempo di ascoltare la vostra stazione radio tutto il giorno? Molto, molto pochi. In effetti è meglio avere un due ore playlist e modificare una o due volte alla settimana. Mantiene la musica fresca e la gente tornerà a sentire. Riproduzione di 10 ore di musica è una perdita di tempo, risorse e stupido semplicemente.

Veniamo ascolto figure e una playlist più di due ore è una completa perdita di tempo e il tempo stazioni radio, e lo fa apparire come il vostro sono solo pigro.

Mantenere la freschezza, tenerlo interessante, tenerlo meno di due ore!

Radio terrestre a raison que la journée est découpée en sections (3-4 heures), puis la musique ou le contenu est lue, puis joue habituellement à nouveau dans chaque section. Pensez-y, combien de personnes ont le temps d'écouter votre station de radio toute la journée? Très, très peu. En fait, il est préférable d'avoir une liste de lecture de deux heures et changer une ou deux fois par semaine. Il garde la musique fraîche et les gens vont revenir à l'entendre. Jouer 10 heures de musique est une perte de temps, de ressources et carrément ridicule.

Nous vous écoute chiffres et une playlist plus de deux heures est un gaspillage complet de votre temps et de votre radio stations du temps, et le fait ressembler vous êtes simplement paresseux.

Conserver au frais, garder ça intéressant, gardez-le au moins deux heures!

Just like any product, branding is key. Radio streaming branding is essential for the growth and stability of the radio station. Using 'one' service to stream is vital for the radio station and it's listeners.

Using multiple streaming options is counter productive as it makes it look like the radio station has no focus, has no direction and is unsure what it is and where it is going.


There is no need to be on BlogTalkRadio, Live365, ShoutCast, Spreaker, uStream and KryKey at the same time - Stick to one! Stick to the one that gives you 24/7 broadcasting, the highest sound quality, and great support.

Also moving the radio station from site to site, for example having its one site on Wix, then moving it to a blog, then to anyone place is also bad for the radio station. Use one, stick to that and grow the content on that site.

When you create a radio station stick with one streaming service and one web site - it is essential to your radio station!

If you have answered yes to all the above, then KryKey is now looking for people to help in the production of promos/dj drops that we offer radio stations on the KryKey network to use/play.


Every week we add new ones to the KryKey Forum (www.KryKey.net) for radio stations on the KryKey network to download and use/play.


All we do is send you an email with a list of words and phrases to say - you can record on any computer (Windows actually has a sound recorder in the accessories section). We then add them to our new library and make promos/dj drops with them.


We are looking for people in ALL countries to say these words in English OR their native language
