Red Babe was again the #1 radio station for the 4th week in a row, with DJ Q Radio moving into the #2 spot. There was three radio stations that made it into the Top 10 that havent been there before and they were Flavor In Yer Eire, The Broadcast & Twilight Zone Underground Radio. ePortal Radio Live who had been in the Top 10 many weeks ago returned and this was mainly due to the fact they have been in the 'featured section' on the front page. The Broadcast is not your typical radio station as it used as a promotional tool for The Broadcast Blog (click here to read it) which reports on 'web radio & digital music news'. Radio stations from the USA dominate the Top 10 this week as they have 40% of the total number and then radio stations from Egypt with 20%.

It was Red Babe's 3rd week in a row at the #1 spot this week with The King Mounir again in the #2 position. 8DH and Desert One jumped back into the Top 10 and we had a new radio station from Egypt in the Top 10 for the first time, Gallery Online Radio Station. This week the Top 10 was again dominated by American, Russian and Egyptian radio stations as they took 70% of all of the Top 10 positions.

The Top 10 stayed relatively the same as last week with Red Babe still at #1 and the #2 to #5 spots also remaining the same. There was an equal #5 this week, so DJ Q Radio and Mounir Heart share that position. London Web Radio moved back into the Top 10 at the #9 spot and a complete new entry at #10 was Godzilla131 from Athens USA.

The #11 to #20 spots shuffled around, but generally had the same radio stations as last week, although the #15 spot was an equal tie with 2nd Floor Basement Radio & Music Lovers. There was also a tie for the #19 spot with Best Web Radio & Radio MIC's.

This week radio stations in the Top 10 came from Belarus, Egypt, Puerto Rico, Russia, USA, and UK. In the 11-20 spots radio stations cane from Australia, USA, Egypt, Canada, Bulgaria, and Brazil. KryKey Web Radio is truly a 'global' web radio network.

KryKey Web Radio Sound Effects

One feature in every KryKey Web Radio Studio is the ability to add 'sound effects' to what is playing via the 'sound effects' tab on the right hand side. There is currently over 500 sound effects available and by the start of the next week another 200 will be added, as well as some music/sound samples that are used for cell/mobile phones.

This is one feature that is great to use as it gives another dimension to what is playing. For example on radio station adds the sound effect of a 'tuning FM radio' between play lists so it sounds like a normal terrestrial radio and someone tuning the dial to get a new program.

Of course any radio station can add their own to the Podcast Library if they cant find what they are looking for in the Sound Effects Library. With nearly 1,000 Sound Effects by the start of the next month, there should be no problems in finding something to use.
